What is ButterlfyGo ?

 

ButterflyGo is an AI powered app used for identifying different butterfly species. The app works by taking a picture with the apps camera or by uploading existing photo of an butterfly which the AI uses to recognize its species.

So that we would stand out from our competitors we gamified butterfly exploration

by implementing these key-features:

• ButterDex. Gallery that consists of photos of butterflies you have found
• Heatmap. Shows where other people had found butterflies

Butterflygo specializes only on butterfly recognition. Implementing other insects to our app is sadly impossible due to given time and resources. So we decided not just to specialize on butterfly recognition, we decided to excel at it.
