ButterflyFinder – explore the world of butterflies

ButterflyFinder is a mobile application created for those who want to better understand the world of butterflies and share their discoveries. We believe that nature becomes closer and more exciting when people have the right tools to study it.

Core idea

The application allows users to:

• find and mark butterfly habitats on an interactive map,

• upload photos and share observations,

• explore a species catalog and access scientific and popular information about butterflies,

• exchange experiences with other members of the community.

This way, ButterflyFinder turns an ordinary walk into a research adventure.

Target audience

We focus on two main groups:

• Biology teachers – who can use the app for lessons, field trips, and student projects.

• Students and young butterfly enthusiasts (for example, 24-year-old nature lovers) – who get a convenient tool for observing, photographing, and studying butterflies.
