Problem:
We think every city and government should have the opportunity to produce more green energy, reduce costs and decentralise its energy sources.
Our Team:
The team dealing with this problem is between 18 and 20 years old, which is extremely young compared to some people who have more to say about such issues. Therefore, it is extremely important for us to do something for green energy to make our world last longer. That’s why we decided to form the Green Energy group in the Design Thinking Workshop to come up with a solution to this problem and create a prototype.
Persona: Our target group includes municipalities, city councils, ministers and finally whole governments.
What is the task of our innovation:
The task is to generate energy from rainwater for the city, explicitly for street lighting, instead of simply letting the rainwater run off, so to speak, to use the power of the water.
About our innovation:
It is a combination of a water power screw and a generator that produces electrical energy from the movement energy of the rainwater and thus illuminates the street lamps or optionally stores the energy in batteries.
Options for the future:
At the moment we are working on the idea of finding better ways than batteries for storing the energy or distributing the energy to low-rainfall regions.
